I've been busy for 2 years!!

I am such a slacker on blogging!! Can't believe the last one was 2 years ago......oh well. I am going to start again. The triplets are now 3.....ouch! They go to preschool 3 days a week so I can blog then.......after I do carpool, Target, Walmart, Publix, laundry, pay bills, return emails & phone calls, try to work out to lose this big butt from triplets, then carpool again. I am sure I can find time to blog.....right?!?!?!

Catching up....Easter, March of Dimes Walk & Mother's Day

I am a little behind ( shocker) but trying to catch up on our crazy life! I always intend to blog during their naps but spend time doing a million other things (including reading other blogs) and then they are all awake!

Easter was fun this year with the trio. We had an egg hunt in our neighborhood. Egg hunting was hysterical to watch. Copeland got the hang of it right away, Cash wanted all the candy & Maggie ( what can I say) wanted to go home. Went to see the Easter Bunny to have a picture....everyone freaked out when they saw him/her so I just decided to forget about it.....not worth the trouble. Maybe next year!

We participated again in the March of Dimes Walk. We raised $650 this year...woohoo! Thanks to all of our awesome family & friends for their generosity. This walk is important to our family. We got to see a lot of the NICU nurses too. Always great to see them. They're like family.

Mother's Day was fun. We spent the weekend with Todd's family. Grilled out with his sister & family & went to the pool. The kids had a blast with their cousins. Made it home safely Sunday night!

I can't believe it has been 18 months.......whew! The triplets are very active, energetic & hysterical. Keeping us quite entertained, busy & exhausted. Our house is a zoo but still having fun. Time is flying by!

I have a lot of catching up to do. I need to backtrack through the pregnancy, NICU, etc. so we don't forget.

We also just got out of the hospital with Cash....asthma attack & mild pneumonia. Boy....was that fun! Trying to explain to an 18 month old....your arm is attached to that pole, we can't run around, you can't eat the IV, you need to sleep, you need the breathing treatment every hour.....all while he is hyped up on steroids!! We survived...my mom (DiDi) & our super-sitter Kayla had the girls. Todd's mom (NaNa) also helped out. We could not do it without the help of our family & Kayla.

We are getting a much needed night off & out tonight. Todd's band is playing in Augusta. My aunt & uncle (CeCe & Pop) are keeping the kiddos until DiDi gets here to take over as usual.

A night of sleep in a hotel.....woohoo!!

I finally arrived in the blogging world.....better late than never!

Todd and I were blessed with GGB triplets in October 2007 at 30 weeks, 2 days. After 7 weeks in the NICU....all 3 came home on December 10, 2007 and the chaos began. We had 3 monitors, one oxygen tank, 3 preemie babies and 3 clueless adults all crammed in the Expedition. Just as we arrived at home, Todd looked at my mom (DiDi) and said "We have no business taking these 3 babies home...I think we should return them to the NICU!"

Copeland, Maggie & Cash are 15 months old. They are all walking, babbling & getting into everything. Our life with triplets may be chaotic but we would not change a thing!
